Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using the Shanvia Academy website or enrolling in any of our courses. By accessing our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Shanvia Academy's website, mobile app, or any of our educational services, you confirm that you are at least 16 years of age and agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Enrolment & Account Registration

To access our courses, you must create an account with accurate and complete information. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Providing truthful and up-to-date personal information

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or provide false information.

3. Course Access & Intellectual Property

Upon successful enrolment and payment, you are granted a limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to access course materials for personal, non-commercial use. You agree not to:

• Reproduce, distribute, or resell any course content
• Share your login credentials with others
• Record, screenshot, or download video lectures without permission
• Use course materials to create competing products or services

All course content, including videos, notes, assignments, and projects, remains the exclusive intellectual property of Shanvia Academy.

4. Payment & Fees

Course fees are clearly displayed at the time of enrolment. By making a payment, you agree to our pricing and payment terms:

• Fees are payable in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise specified
• EMI options are subject to the terms of our lending partners
• We accept major debit/credit cards, UPI, net banking, and wallets
• All transactions are processed through secure, PCI-compliant payment gateways

5. Refund Policy

We offer a 7-day refund window from the date of enrolment, subject to the following conditions:

• Refund requests must be submitted in writing to refunds@shanviaacademy.com
• No refund is applicable after 7 days of enrolment
• No refund if more than 20% of the course has been accessed
• Processing fees and GST are non-refundable
• Approved refunds are processed within 7–10 business days

6. Student Conduct

Students are expected to maintain a respectful learning environment. The following conduct is strictly prohibited:

• Harassment, bullying, or discrimination of any kind
• Sharing offensive, illegal, or inappropriate content in any forum
• Cheating, plagiarism, or academic dishonesty in assessments
• Attempting to hack, disrupt, or exploit our systems or platforms

Violation of this code may result in immediate suspension without refund.

7. Certificates & Placement Support

Certificates of completion are issued upon meeting the following requirements:

• Completion of all modules and assignments
• Minimum 80% attendance in live sessions
• Passing score in the final assessment

Placement support is a best-effort service. While we work with 200+ hiring partners, we do not guarantee a specific job offer, salary, or placement within a defined timeline.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Shanvia Academy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the fees paid by you for the specific course in question.

9. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of our services following any changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Kolkata, West Bengal.
